Either a scam, or it was kept in storage long enough that when someone decided to take it out, they fried the electronics when trying to replace/recharge the battery or something, so they're trying to get rid of it ASAP.
Or it's just delusions of grandeur.

I think a scam car would be something a little more normal than an XR4Ti, but you might be right.
